Manaslu Circuit Remote Expedition
A pristine and remote high-altitude journey circling the eighth highest mountain in the world. Traverse dramatic suspension bridges, deep river gorges, and ancient Tibetan-influenced mountain villages, experiencing the raw, untouched wilderness of the Nepalese Himalayas.
Note: Manaslu is a strictly regulated restricted zone, requiring specialized governmental permits (MRAP, MACP, ACAP, and Local Permits) which ensure minimal footfall and an elite, untouched expedition experience.
Detailed Itinerary (18 Days):

Day 1: Pickup from Kathmandu airport, hotel transfer, and an exclusive evening welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali cultural restaurant.

Day 2: Rest, briefing, and final gear preparation in Kathmandu for the high-altitude trek.

Day 3 (Trek Day 1): Scenic drive by bus/jeep from Kathmandu to Machha Khola (930 m, 160 km, 9-11 hrs) following the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki Rivers.

Day 4 (Trek Day 2): Machha Khola to Jagat (1,340 m, 20 km, 8-9 hrs) crossing suspension bridges, waterfalls, and entering the gateway of the Manaslu Conservation Area.

Day 5 (Trek Day 3): Jagat to Deng (1,860 m, 22 km, 8-9 hrs) walking through traditional villages, lush forests, and dramatic river gorges.

Day 6 (Trek Day 4): Deng to Namrung (2,630 m, 19 km, 8-9 hrs) entering Tibetan-influenced settlements, pine forests, and encountering first major mountain panoramas.

Day 7 (Trek Day 5): Namrung to Lho (3,180 m, 10 km, 5-6 hrs) visiting local monasteries with magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu.

Day 8 (Trek Day 6): Lho to Samagaun via Pungyen Gompa (3,530 m, 17 km, 6-7 hrs) exploring the sacred monastery (~4,000 m) and glacier scenery.

Day 9 (Trek Day 7): Acclimatization day at Samagaun with a hike to Manaslu Base Camp (MBC ~4,800 m, 13 km, 8-9 hrs).

Day 10 (Trek Day 8): Samagaun to Samdo (3,860 m, 9 km, 4-5 hrs) via a gradual alpine trek to the last permanent village before Larke Pass.

Day 11 (Trek Day 9): Acclimatization at Samdo (3,860 m) with a short hike to higher viewpoints.

Day 12 (Trek Day 10): Samdo to Dharamsala / Larke Phedi (4,460 m, 6 km, 5-6 hrs) preparing for the high pass.

Day 13 (Trek Day 11): Dharamsala across the spectacular Larke Pass (5,160 m — highest point) down to Bhimthang (3,600 m, 22 km, 10-12 hrs).

Day 14 (Trek Day 12): Bhimthang to Gowa (2,515 m, 13 km, 6-7 hrs) descending through rhododendron forests and yak pastures.

Day 15 (Trek Day 13): Gowa/Tilije to Besisahar (760 m, 11 km + drive 7-8 hrs) final trekking stretch and drive.

Day 16 (Trek Day 14 / Drive): Return drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu.

Day 17: Urban day in Kathmandu for shopping, sightseeing, and a private closing dinner with Durga’s family.

Day 18: Final departure and return journey home.
