Welcome to the premier Annapurna base camp trek. This is a breathtaking journey walking straight into a majestic natural amphitheater enclosed by seven-thousand-meter peaks. Experience a seamless transition from sub-tropical terraced fields and rich multi-ethnic heritage villages up into the icy, dramatic grandeur of the Himalayan high basins.

Detailed Itinerary (15 Days):

  • Day 1: Airport pickup and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu, followed by an exclusive evening welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali cultural restaurant.

  • Day 2: Rest day and final preparation / briefing for the expedition.

  • Day 3 (Trek Day 1): Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara (via scenic tourist bus or domestic flight depending on selected package), exploring Lakeside.

  • Day 4 (Trek Day 2): Drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk (1,940 m, 55 km drive, 2-3 hrs), experiencing Gurung culture and initial Himalayan vistas.

  • Day 5 (Trek Day 3): Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2,170 m, 9 km, 5-6 hrs) trekking through forests and terraced fields.

  • Day 6 (Trek Day 4): Chhomrong to Dovan (2,600 m, 11 km, 6-7 hrs) following the Modi Khola through bamboo and rhododendron forests.

  • Day 7 (Trek Day 5): Dovan to Deurali (3,230 m, 10 km, 5-6 hrs) passing waterfalls, Hinku Cave, and alpine scenery.

  • Day 8 (Trek Day 6): Deurali via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) to Annapurna Base Camp / ABC (4,130 m, 10 km, 6-7 hrs) arriving at the majestic natural amphitheater with panoramic mountain views.

  • Day 9 (Trek Day 7): ABC to Bamboo (2,310 m, 15 km, 6-7 hrs) enjoying the high-altitude sunrise before descending through forests.

  • Day 10 (Trek Day 8): Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m, 11 km, 5-6 hrs) with time to relax in the natural hot springs.

  • Day 11 (Trek Day 9): Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (822 m, 65 km drive, 2-3 hrs) returning to enjoy a relaxing evening by Phewa Lake.

  • Day 12 (Trek Day 10): Full day of Pokhara sightseeing (Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Pagoda, Phewa Lake).

  • Day 13 (Trek Day 11): Return journey from Pokhara back to Kathmandu (by road or flight).

  • Day 14: Urban sightseeing in Kathmandu, concluding with a private closing dinner with Durga’s family.

  • Day 15: Final departure and return journey home.
